I came to Waterside Aesthetic Denistry to see Dr. Dunford for a second opinion. I am new to the Cape Coral area anyway and was in need of finding a good dentist locally. I was told by another dentist in Naples that I needed to have done 32K worth the work in my mouth. I was blow away as I have been seeing a dentist regularly and getting my cleanings done every four months. I was never told by my previous dentist (which I last saw in Feb) that I was having any problems. So of course when you are told all This work needs to be done you go for a 2nd opinion. I was already full of so much stress and anxiety when I walked in the door at Waterside Denistry to see Dr. Dunford. He knew I was very upset and stressed giving what I had been told. He had me laughing in no time sitting in the chair. I love his personality. He took some x-rays and then did a thorough examination. He very carefully went over his findings. It turns out I don’t need 32K worth the work. I do have some issues but not 32K worth. I am switching to him as my now permanent dentist for however long I live in the Cape Coral area. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Larry Dunford and his entire team. After struggling with some significant dental issues, I finally feel like I'm in the best hands possible. I just received my partials today and they are absolutely perfect. Dr. Dunford was meticulous throughout the entire process. He sent them back for adjustments multiple times to ensure the fit and craftsmanship were exactly right. That level of dedication and refusal to settle for anything less than perfect truly sets him apart. His bedside manner is warm, reassuring, and genuinely caring. You never feel like just another patient. His assistant Julie and front office lady Dawn are incredibly kind and welcoming every single visit. They make what can be an anxiety-inducing experience feel completely comfortable. I also have to give a special mention to the hygienist Lizbelle. I came in with some really troubled gum health and she was so thorough yet so gentle. She made my cleanings virtually pain-free, which I honestly didn't think was possible. We love Dr. Larry Dunford!!! We have been going here for over ten years since we moved down from the north. All of their staff are so kind and Dawn, the secretary, is such a sweetheart. My older kids now go with us as well as they have aged out of pediatrics and they think Dr. Dunford is hilarious! It's nice to have a place where you know you can trust who is caring for you! We are so blessed to have found Dr Dunford and Waterside Aesthetic Dentistry!!

I accompanied my husband to his appointment with Dr. Dunford who has unsuccessfully tightened his implant once before. It has become loose again so he’s looking to get it re-tightened. My husband, who had been referred to this location by his current dentist, relayed what his dentist thinks should be the course of action to prevent this from happening again. Dr. Dunford was combative, rude, only addressed me, and would not look at my husband when explaining why he disagreed. He then told me, “Am I getting through to you, hellooo?” My husband had to remind him he’s the patient to speak with, not me. I’ve never witnessed such an unprofessional interaction. I felt like I was watching a tantrum; it was incredibly bizarre. I feel for everyone in that office that has to work with him on a daily basis. Hopefully he uses this as an opportunity to better his communication and work on managing his emotions.

I had an excellent experience at this dental office. The entire team was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions with patience and care. The office was clean, modern, and well-organized, and the staff made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the genuine concern for my comfort throughout the appointment. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and trustworthy dentist, I highly recommend this practice. I couldn’t be happier with the care I received and will definitely be returning for future visits!
